Before you begin your Housekeeping visit, please follow these quick steps to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
🏠Step 1: Confirm the Visit Scope
When you arrive at the Care Recipient’s (CR) home:
- Greet the family or CR politely.
- Confirm the visit scope and priorities based on the service requirements and visit instructions in your app
- Clarify special tasks, such as fan cleaning or window cleaning.
- If time is limited, ask the family to prioritise which areas should be cleaned first.
💡 Example: “Would you like me to focus on the bathroom or kitchen today?”
đź§´ Step 2: Check Cleaning Materials
Before starting, please check the cleaning materials available onsite. Each home may have different supplies — use what’s available and safe to use.
Please avoid using excessive cleaning solution and use only the amount necessary.
The list below shows recommended cleaning materials for reference only.
🪣 Cleaning Tools
- Broom and dustpan (set)
- Mop (set)
- Cleaning gloves
- Wet floor wiper (silicone floor scraper)
- Surface cleaning scrub
- Toilet scrub
- Bucket
- Wet wipes (disinfectant wipes)
- Window wiper (if required)
- Kitchen stove scrub (if required)

- Detergent
- Dishwashing liquid
- General-purpose cleaner
- Cream or paste cleaner
- Disinfectant (e.g. Dettol 4-in-1 Multi-Surface Cleaner 1.5–2.5 L)

- Cif Cream Cleaner
🚨 If Cleaning Materials Are Missing
If you find that important tools or supplies are missing:

Pause the task and inform the family about what can or cannot be done.
Example: “The mop isn’t available, so I’ll focus on surface cleaning for now.” - Contact Homage immediately through support channels for next steps.

Document clearly in your:
- Visit Summary
- Incident & Concern page and select "Missing cleaning material" and provide details.
