Incidents with the possibility to cause injury and/or suffering to the Care Recipient (CR) and/or the Care Pro may occur during a care visit.
Possible incidents can include:
- Fell down
- Had injury or wound
- Hospitalisation
- Care Recipient passed away
- Verbal abuse
- Acts of force or coercion
- Inappropriate sexual conduct
- Theft
- Suspected neglect
- Care Recipient is absent
- Others, e.g. psychological injury or discomfort, refused health or medical advice despite risks
When such incident occurs, Care Pros must report this to Homage.
To report an incident, please refer to the video guide and steps below:
- After submitting your Visit Summary, select Yes to "Did you experience any incidents during the visit?"
- Select all incidents that apply.

Provide as much information as possible for a thorough recount of events that led to the incident and click Submit. Infomation should include the following:
- Actions taken by yourself, the Care Recipient and others who were involved
- Timeline of events
- Observations you made regarding the Care Recipient's mental and physical state, include images where relevant
Homage team will review your report within 3 working days. Remember, there is no harm in over-reporting. If you are unsure, simply report for peace of mind.
