Here are some tips on how you can prepare for a visit.
- Location and time: Plan your route in advance and buffer time for any transport delays. Try to arrive at the visit location 15 minutes earlier.
- Dress code: Dress in decent and comfortable clothing (do not wear sleeveless tops and shorts). You are encouraged to wear the Homage T-Shirt if available.
- Visit Requirement: Review the Care Recipient profile and services requested. This will help you understand their needs and provide appropriate support. You can also check past visit summaries to learn from other Care Pros' experiences and understand what the Care Recipient might expect.
- Visit Summary Update: Be detailed when writing the visit summary, as it will help the Care Owner stay updated on the Care Recipient's health. Feel free to attach photos (only if appropriate) to ensure that the family has a better visualisation of the care visit.
- Mobile Usage: Avoid using your mobile phone during the visit so you can provide undivided care and attention.
