All of the Homage Nurses are registered Health Practitioners with the governing body, AHPRA.
There are two levels of general Nursing qualification in Australia; They are Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Registered Nurses (RN). Each of these Nurse categories undergo different training, and are certified to perform different scopes of practice.
An enrolled nurse (EN) will have completed a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (18 months plus of study) through a registered Australian training provider and is able to conduct some nursing procedures independently.
A registered nurse (RN) will have completed a Bachelors of Nursing Degree (3 years minimum study period) and can take on more responsibilities. An RN is able to administer medicines, Assess patients and provide other complex nursing or specialised care services.
